HOW IT STARTED
In 2015, Songe LaRon and Dave Salvant watched as apps changed the game...
...for restaurants, ride shares, and other everyday services. They realized nothing existed for barbershops.
As Black men, they understood the unique culture and the importance barbershops hold in local communities. Barbershops represent more than just a place to get a trim – they are the cornerstones of neighborhoods. They create opportunities to provide and to thrive. And for many, they are their legacy.
And so a vision was born - create a seamless system that would transform the way barbers run their business, and in turn, revolutionize the barbering industry.
Today, we are proud to be trusted by over 32,000 barbers worldwide and have processed over $2B in payments through our platform.
& we're just getting started.
Fun Fact: SQUIRE's name was inspired by Songe and Dave's love for Game of Thrones - True "Thronies" till the end! 🏰⚔️
